I remember the day I got hungry,

Mom fed me.

I remember the day I got wound,

Mom treated me.

I remember the day I first entered school,

Mom took me there.

I remember the day I can’t go home,

Mom fetched me.

I remember the day I fought with my siblings,

Mom scolded me.

I remember the day I first went home late,

Mom punished me.

I remember the day dad punished me,

Mom stopped him and protected me.

I remember the day I got sick,

Mom took care of me.

I remember the day it feels like I can’t able to go,

Mom accompanied me.

I remember the day I passed the LET,

Mom cried with me.

I remember the day I told her about my crushes,

Mom laughed with me.

And most importantly…

I remember the day I lose my hopes,

Mom cheered me up.

Mom is always there.

Mom is everywhere.

Mom is everything.

Mom is always what we really need.
